Just head to one of the many state parks in your state and you can find yourself right in the middle of a great vacation.

Kids grow up so fast! Yes, it’s a cliché but the passing of time really does go by in the blink of an eye. One of our favorite ways to spend time together as a family is through RVing and camping! Not only do we experience something new, connect with nature, and leave behind the daily chores of our home, but every day is full of opportunities to learn from each other and create memories that will last a lifetime. Camping allows us to take a step back from everyday life and enjoy important family time together without technology and other distractions pulling at our attention.
Setting the Devices Aside
Making an effort to get away from the hustle and bustle of your normal schedule is good for both you and your family. It’s a great way to slow down, recharge, take in some fresh air, socialize with friends and family, and enjoy some time close to nature. We all need a little bit of downtime now and then to help us reconnect with one another so it’s vital that we, as parents, leave our devices aside during these rare moments and make an effort to do the things we love – such as camping! For me camping is a win whenever my kids have fun playing together outside. Whether they’re digging up rocks or building sandcastles or just mucking around kicking their feet in the sand – as long as they’re laughing I know it’s a win!
